International Collaborations and Rising Culinary Stars

One of the major novelties this year is the start of a collaboration with the École Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), the prestigious institution recognized as the best hospitality school in the world.

Highlighting this new partnership, Michelin-starred Chef Lucrèce Lacchio, head of the restaurant Le Berceau des Sens, located on the Lausanne campus, will be the guest of honor at the festival’s “Women’s Night.” Along with a group of EHL students, Lacchio will present a unique gastronomic experience, celebrating female excellence and talent in the kitchen.

Additionally, the festival will host four-handed dinners, where the finalists of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef competition, reserved for the best young chefs under 30, will collaborate with established Ticino chefs.

This format is designed to foster intergenerational dialogue and encourage the emergence of new culinary trends, bringing young people closer to the future of gastronomy.

Ambassadors of Taste and Promotion of Local Excellence

As per tradition, SPST also stands out for its ability to promote the beauty and excellence of the Ticino region.

This year, new ambassadors have been selected who, through the festival, will showcase to the world the uniqueness and quality of local products, continuing the festival’s mission to celebrate Ticino’s food and wine culture on an international level.

This edition promises to be an unmissable event, blending tradition and innovation, offering the public a gastronomic journey through German flavors and Ticino excellence.

S.Pellegrino Sapori | 18 Years of Great Emotions

S.Pellegrino Sapori Ticino was born from the idea of bringing the best of international food and wine to Canton Ticino, to collaborate with Ticino’s hotels and chefs.

The great tourist potential of the region, rich in natural beauty, history, and unique landscapes, today more than ever, is also reflected through its food and wine, a fundamental factor in choosing a destination.

One of the events that brings the most visibility and prestige to our canton, highlighting the excellence of the dining experience.

In 2007, Dany Stauffacher, a Ticino native passionate about food and wine, committed to bringing together a group of major local hotels and restaurants that, united by the same goal, decided to combine their professionalism to create an event focused on hospitality, the beauty, and the delicacies of the region.
