From October 4 to 6, 2024, the center of Lugano will transform into a lively stage for the “Autumn Festival”, an event that brings with it the charm of the most colorful season.
Among the narrow streets of the old town, visitors can immerse themselves in a unique experience that combines tradition, gastronomy, and music.

This event celebrates autumn with a wide culinary offering: the traditional “grottini” serve local specialties accompanied by Ticino wines, perfect for warming up the October atmosphere.

The Court of the Patrizi, located in the Town Hall’s Patio, returns as a focal point for those wishing to learn more about the history and products of Lugano’s 15 Patriziati (local administrative bodies). Here, tradition and culture blend in a setting that showcases the authenticity of the region.
A must-see new addition to this edition is the Cheese Festival, which will be held along the lakeside on Saturday and Sunday. This cheese market celebrates the great Swiss dairy tradition, offering the opportunity to discover the secrets and techniques of artisanal cheese production up close.
